PUMA air compressor is a device that converts power using an electric motor into potential energy stored in pressurized air. The air compressor increases air pressure by forcing more and more air into a storage tank. When tank pressure reaches its engineered upper limit, the air compressor shuts off. The compressed air is then held in the tank until use. As the air is released and the tank depressurizes, the energy contained in the compressed air can be used for a variety of applications such as powering pneumatic and automatic equipment, packaging and conveyors. When the tank pressure reaches its lower limit, the air compressor turns on again and re-pressurizes the tank. PUMA air compressors feature compact size, low-vibration, low-noise and high performance. Its power ranges from 2HP to 15HP and its tank capacity ranges from 88L to 304L. Its working pressure is 10 kg/cm². Applications include factories, automation systems, automobile maintenance, painting, engineering and other applications that require air sources. |
